Operational privacy notice • Effective October 4, 2026
This notice explains how 2 Drones and a Truck LLC uses information in the Pilot Market Network. It is intended to make the beta marketplace transparent while the product continues to develop.
Information we collect
Depending on how you use the network, we may collect account and contact information, profile details, service areas, experience and specialties, portfolio or listing images, project and proposal information, transaction records, reviews, credential information you choose to submit, and technical information needed to operate and secure the site. Payment-card information, payout-bank details and Stripe identity/tax-verification information are handled through Stripe rather than stored directly in the marketplace database. 2 Drones may store a Stripe connected-account identifier and payout-readiness status so the marketplace knows whether supported payments can be activated; it does not store members’ bank routing or account numbers.
How we use information
We use information to provide account access, operate profiles and listings, match marketplace participants, process or document transactions, send transactional messages, verify submitted credentials when a verification feature applies, prevent misuse, resolve support issues and improve the beta marketplace.
Public information is opt-in
Public pilot, crew, creative/technical and public-sector visibility is controlled by the applicable profile settings. Portfolio work is not made public merely because it is uploaded; the portfolio-public setting must also be enabled. Government contracting details and creative/technical credential details have separate public-display controls. Do not place passwords, private access keys, sensitive government information or confidential client data in public profile fields.
Information that stays private by design
The network is designed not to publicly display private credential uploads, Part 107 certificate numbers, equipment serial numbers, buyer shipping addresses, private repair access tokens, payment identifiers, or private customer contact details that a workflow specifically protects. Some information may still be shared with the other party when needed to complete a transaction or service.
Service providers
2 Drones uses third-party infrastructure to run the marketplace, including Cloudflare for site delivery and security, Airtable for operational marketplace records, Stripe for supported payments and payouts, and Resend for transactional email. Those providers process information needed to perform their respective services under their own terms and privacy practices.
Retention and security
We keep marketplace records for as long as reasonably needed to operate the service, maintain transaction and dispute records, meet legal or accounting obligations, and protect the network. We use access controls and private-field rules intended to reduce unnecessary exposure, but no online system can promise absolute security.
Your choices
You can leave optional public-profile, portfolio, credential-display and public-sector-display settings turned off. You may also ask 2 Drones to review or correct marketplace profile information. Some transaction, accounting, fraud-prevention or legal records may need to be retained even when a public profile is no longer shown.
Children
The professional marketplace is not designed for children to create marketplace provider accounts or conduct commercial transactions.
Updates
This notice may change as beta features, providers and legal requirements evolve. Material product changes should be reflected here as the marketplace develops.
